2022 Nativity Improving Student Learning Self Study

March 21, 2022 by Nativity

Dear Nativity Community,

I pray you and your family we well as enter the third week of Lent.

As you know, our school will undergo an accreditation visit from Tuesday, March 22nd through Thursday, March 24th. The past two years our faculty and leadership team have collaborated to write the Improving Student Learning Self Study document, which is linked below, that highlights the school’s accomplishments and areas of growth to help improve student learning. Below are the three critical goals that were determined throughout the Self Study process.

  1. To strengthen and foster the School’s Mission and Catholic Identity through sustainable, school-wide service.
  2. To implement and strengthen the multi-tiered systems of support/instruction to support the education and empowerment of the whole child.
  3. To increase student achievement/performance in the area of Reading and English Language Arts.

We have now been waiting for this visit for the past few months and look forward to sharing our many accomplishments as well as these areas of growth with four educators from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Kindly and humbly we ask that you please keep our School in your prayers this week.

Blessings,
Mrs. Teresa Reynoso-Gonzalez, M.Ed.
