Students in grades kinder through five receive an additional 45 minutes of mathematics enrichment through ST Math – a computer-based program that uses a visual approach to teach mathematics concepts. The program uses a game metaphor approach to engage students and includes language-independent software lessons that help reduce the affective filter associated with learning math terminology. ST Math has proven to increase math test scores for students, classes, and schools throughout the state of California.
