Nativity Student Leaders Attend TACSC

March 9, 2016 by Susan Armendariz

On March 2nd, six Nativity Student Leaders were giving the opportunity to attend a Student Leadership Day with an organization called TACSC. TACSC, The Association of Catholic Student Councils, believes in empowering students by learning from other students and therefore the leaders of the conference were high school students from Catholic schools throughout Southern California. Our students enjoyed lessons in leadership by attending workshops on servant leadership, the consequences of your actions, accepting and welcoming diversity in groups, finding your strengths, conflict management and problem solving. In addition, they learned about the value of teamwork through different games and activities including, “Human Alphabet” and “Hula Hoop Together.” The biggest highlight of the day was being able to meet and connect with students from other Catholic schools and create friendships through these activities.
