The faculty and staff of Nativity School welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year! We look forward to continuing our partnership with you in the hope of living our mission to help enpower each child to reach his/her fullest potential. Below you will find some valuable information regarding our school year.
General information is provided for parents at the new parent orientation, Back-to-School night, through occasional other meetings, and through family envelope sent home monthly, and other information sent home as needed.
Office Hours: Our Office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Friday.
School Hours: School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day. Dismissal Monday through Thursday is at 2:45 p.m. and at 1:15 p.m. on Friday to allow for faculty professional learning time. If your child does not arrive to school on timye, he/she must first report to the main office to receive a tardy slip.
Emergency Forms: Every family should complete and return a yellow emergency form. All information on this form must be current. You must include a home address and phone number for at least one parent or guardian. Forms are due to your child’s teacher no later than Friday, August 17, 2018.
FACTS Management: This year we will be offering FACTS Tuition Management as a way to make tuition and other payments to the school. FACTS is an online management system that allows for you to make online payments that can be credited to your family’s account right away. Parents interested in enrolling into this online system will receive service hours. More information will be shared in the bi-weekly newsletter and at Back to School Night Thursday, August 23, 2018.
Monthly Calendar: You will receive a monthly calendar in your Family Envelopes at the beginning of each month. Please make sure to take note of all important events including faculty professional development days.
Bi-Weekly Newsletter: Our bi-weekly newsletter will continue to go home every other week. Expect the first one on Monday, August 13, 2018.
Physical Education: PE begins August 13, 2018. Students may wear their PE uniform to school when their class has PE. Please see the scheule below:
Monday: Grade K & 1
Tuesday: Grade 2 & 3
Wednesday: Grade 6, 7 & 8
Thursday: Grade 4 & 5
Friday: Grade TK
School Uniforms: Students must come to school in complete uniform. Uniform infractions will be given starting August 20, 2018. If for some reason your child is not able to come to school in complete uniform, a note from you must be given to his/her teacher.

Free Dress: Please remember that students may only wear free dress on birthdays and on days announced by the school office. If your child’s birthday falls on the weekend, he/she may wear free dress the Friday before.
Remind: All teachers and the main ofice will be using Remind as a communication tool this year. Please make sure to be on the lookout for additional information from your child’s teacher.
