Re: School Closure due to COVID-19 Update #1
Dear Parents, I pray this letter finds you well and safe during this time. Although our school will be student-free for the next two weeks, we are making every effort to accommodate your needs. Please see a few updates below in regards to some of the services that will remain available during school closure.
● FREE breakfast and lunch meals for school-aged children 18 years or younger will be available starting Tuesday, March 17th. If you or anyone you know is in need, please come by to pick up meals between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Children do not need to be students of Nativity School to receive meals.
● Our Main Office will be open this week from 7:30am-3:00pm (unless instructed to do otherwise). Hours for next week to be determined by Thursday, March 19th.
● Appointments with CEF have been cancelled. Please plan on bringing your completed application to the main office during closure or immediately upon student return.
● Faculty & Staff will be checking in on your child’s progress. Please confirm with your child’s teacher that the number he/she has on file is up to date. If you need clarification on what is being expected of your child to be successful in his/her distance learning, you may request a meeting with your child’s teacher for this week. Schedule for next week TBD.
● Spectrum offers FREE internet, for 60 days, during school closure for families that don’t have internet at home. To enroll in the program, call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

As you all know, the Coronavirus situation continues to evolve rapidly. Please note that the services available during school closure may be subject to change. We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor the situation and as we continue to do all that we can to be of service to you and your children.

Tema: Cierre de la escuela debido a COVID-19 Actualización # 1
Estimados padres, Espero que esta carta los encuentre bien y seguros durante estos tiempos. Aunque nuestra escuela estará libre de estudiantes durante las próximas dos semanas, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para satisfacer sus necesidades. Vea algunas actualizaciones a continuación con respecto a algunos de los servicios que permanecerán disponibles durante el cierre de la escuela.
● Tendremos comidas de desayuno y el almuerzo gratuitas para niños de edad escolar de 18 años o menos a partir del martes 17 de marzo. Si usted o alguien que usted conoce está en la necesidad, por favor venga a recoger las comidas entre las 9:00 am y las 11:00 a.m. Los niños no tienen que ser estudiantes de la Escuela de la Natividad para recibir comidas.
● Nuestra oficina principal estará abierta esta semana de 7:30 am-3:00 pm (a menos que se le indique lo contrario). Horas para la semana que viene serán determinados el jueves 19 de marzo.
● Las citas con CEF han sido cancelados. Por favor planee traer su solicitud a la oficina principal durante el cierre o inmediatamente después del regreso de su estudiante.
● La facultad y el personal va a monitorear el progreso de su hijo/a. Por favor, confirme con el/la maestro/a de su hijo/a que el número que él / ella tiene en sus archivos es hasta la fecha. Si necesita alguna aclaración sobre lo que se espera de su hijo/a durante este tiempo afuera de la clase, puede solicitar una reunión con el/la maestro/a de su hijo/a para esta semana.
● Spectrum ofrece internet GRATIS, durante 60 días, durante el cierre de las escuelas para familias que no tienen Internet en casa. Para inscribirse en el programa, llame al 1-844-488-8395. Las tarifas de instalación no se aplicarán a los nuevos hogares de estudiantes.
