Hawaii Raffle Drawing…..and the winner is……

June 2, 2017 by Susan Armendariz

We are pleased to announce a winner was drawn for the Pleasant Holidays Vacation for 2 to Maui donated by the Hannon Foundation, on Friday, June 2, 2017.

Students assembled in the auditorium anxiously awaiting the Hawaii raffle drawing while a large red barrel, filled with hundreds of ticket stubs, was carried to stage. Student’s cheered with excitement anxious for the winning ticket to be drawn. A very special guest, Sr. Judy Flahavan, predecessor and mentor to Principal Mr. Felix, drew the winning ticket.

Faculty, staff and students waited in suspense as Mr. Felix announced that the winner was among us. A 7th grade students stared in shock when her name was called and her 2nd grade brother yelled with excitement! Everyone cheered the winning family on as they walked to stage and took photos with Sr. Judy and Mr. Felix.

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets. We appreciate your help in support of tuition assistance and student programs.
