WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

June 1, 2016 by Susan Armendariz

We are pleased to announce the winner of the Pleasant Holidays Vacation for 2 to Maui!  On Friday, May 27th students assembled on the play ground anxiously awaiting the Hawaii raffle drawing while a large gold barrel, filled with hundreds of ticket stubs, was carried out to the yard by Mr. Felix. The students cheered with excitement waiting for the winning ticket to be drawn.

A 1st grade student was chosen to draw a ticket from the barrel. She stepped up to the barrel, drew out one ticket and handed it to Mr. Felix. Over three hundred children waiting in suspense as Mr. Felix smiled and read the winning name out loud. A 4th grade students yelled with excitement as he heard his family name read over the microphone.  Everyone cheer him on as he walked up to Mr. Felix to shake his hand.

Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets. We appreciate your help in support of tuition assistance and student programs.
