Rory Bruer STEM Research Lab Opens at NativityLA

April 28, 2017 by Susan Armendariz

On Wednesday April 26th, Michael and Jackie Brooks, Rory Bruer and Elizabeth O’Neil from Variety the Children’s Charity of Southern California had the honor of cutting the ribbon on the Rory Bruer STEM Research Lab here at Nativity School in Los Angeles. This gorgeous new state of the art lab, with its 36 new computers, will serve children 4 through 8 years of age – ensuring that our youngest students will get the best possible start to their education. The Brooks family pledged a matching gift last summer and Variety’s match was announced at December’s Annual Heart of Show Business Luncheon honoring Rory Bruer. The Allegretti Family, not pictured, also donated to the lab. We are grateful to our donors for making this dream a reality for our students. We are proud to honor Rory Bruer with this STEM Lab and share his passion that ALL kids deserve a great education.
