Two incredible stars blazed their beacons of generosity and inspiration to more than 300 Nativity friends and supporters at our 3rd Annual Beacon of Hope Gala in September. The entire Nativity community was honored to salute the school’s champions Jackie and Mike Brooks, who were presented with the Beacon of Hope award by Sister Stella Maria Enright, DMJ (center). Sr. Stella’s inspiring remarks highlighted the pair’s selfless support of so many Los Angeles-area charities, including Nativity, where both Jackie and Sr. Stella serve on the board. The inspiring evening also featured a performance by the Nativity Choir, who wowed the audience with their rendition of “Happy”, which underscored the feelings of everyone in the room, who were also uplifted by the remarks of the event’s MC, Danny Amos. The event raised more than $100,000 to support vital Nativity programs, including tuition assistance and tech upgrades.
